This page will hep you with rescources to begin your new journey into officiating Kansas High School Athletics. Please remember to join and use the TOA as a great resource and tool to becoming a great sports official.
Important Steps to Become An Official
1) Pay and register with the KSHSAA before the sport you wish to officiate deadline.
2) Attend the Rules Meeting in person of on-line (depending on year)
3) Take and pass test before deadline

4) Join the TOA to network, seek mentors, and find clinics to help you understand the nuances of the game and develop your skills and mechanics.
5) Make sure you are properly equipped with the correct attire and equipment your sport requires.
If you have missed these deadlines and you are new to officiating we encourage you to contact your local rec department, youth leagues or YMCA to gain experience.
